Meet the creators behind Botanic Garden

Todd Logan
Playwright and Lyricist

Todd Logan is a playwright whose work has been produced nationally and presented in over 500 venues, including theaters, educational institutions, and community settings across the country. Botanic Garden premiered in Chicago in 2008, directed by Academy Award winner Olympia Dukakis, and was both toured and produced in theaters through 2023. It later won Best Play at the 2017 New York Theater Festival and became known for its emotional resonance and sustained audience conversation.

Composer and Lyricist

Lindsay Jones is a Tony-nominated composer and sound designer with over 800 shows on Broadway, off-Broadway and in theatres around the world. He has composed music for over 40 films, including the Oscar-winning A Note Of Triumph for HBO Films. He has received a Webby Award, an Ambie Award, and three Signal Awards for his work in podcasts. He is the co-chair of Theatrical Sound Designers and Composers Association (TSDCA) and teaches at UNCSA.
